ESKAPO: ZAMBALES--Pundaquit Beach

Hi again! after a few weeks of my second Eskapo... i'm already on my way to my third one--ZAMBALES--specifically in Pundaquit beach. We actually had our itinerary from Pundaquit > Anawangin > Capones > Camara but due to PUBLIC DEMANDS... it all ended in Pundaquit beach alone. Though a bit disappointed and dissatisfied... still, i enjoyed the bonding with my friends. it's my first time to travel with them and to travel by group so i have to have a little adjustments. Anyway, it's still a fun experience.

WELCOME TO ZAMBALES!

ESKAPO: SAN PABLO + ALAMINOS

Hey there! I just got home from my second ESKAPO in Laguna. Actually, I planned to go to the 7 lakes of San Pablo... but because I only have weekends to stay there, I wasn't able to go to 6 other lakes. A day or two is not enough to complete the trail so i hope next time... I can visit them all.

Anyway, though i haven't completed the 7 lakes, I still enjoyed my stay in Laguna. I stayed with a friend and he accompany me on my not so long escapade experience.

I arrived at night so we planned to start my journey the day after.

At morning, we first stroll the mini city of Alaminos. Why "mini"? coz the place is small and every establishments like city hall, church, police station, wet market, schools, drugstores, convenient stores, etc are just near by. Everything is walking distance :)

Alaminos Plaza

As you can see, there are some fruits there but all of them are just imitations of the real ones.
Those fruits are their "BEST" like:
BUKO, RAMBUTAN and LANZONES
but unfortunately, they are not in season yet.

Alaminos Church

Statue of Mariano Fule with his mother.
I actually mispronounced the surname coz I called it "fyoool" haha
but it's "FULE" itself.

One of the things i fell in love about Alaminos is their FLOWERS!
i'm no fan of flowers but when you saw those beautiful creation...
you will be amazed.

i'm no familiar with some of them but i hope you do enjoy looking at it :)

seriously?
was it a travel blog or a flower blog?
hahaha :D

a little friend from somewhere :D

and of course, my journey starts here.

We first went to the so-called "PATAY NA ILOG."
we tracked this street down to San Pedro to reach that place.

we finally got here and we walked for almost 30 minutes!
the spot was on the side of this bridge.

Why PATAY NA ILOG?

because it was already taken for granted but the place still had it's hidden beauty through the stone formation and the cold water running on it.

Some teenagers were washing their clothes here.

though my peers are telling me that it's not beautiful there, still the place never disappoints me.

Trails to SAMPALOC LAKE

we rode a jeepney from Alaminos to San Pablo

WELCOME TO SAN PABLO CITY :)

this way :D

this is not my first time in Sampaloc lake but whenever i go here...
the place always amazed me :)

i so love the ambiance coz it's peaceful and calming.
it's a nice place to unwind and feel relaxed.

the Manang selling candies is one of the people i will
never forget in my second Eskapo..
why?
later :D

the church of Iglesia ni Kristo made me the impression of old United Kingdom
where there were castles built beside the lake and mountains :D

this is one of the nicest view i had captured.
heart-shaped clouds :)

this is the reason why i love Manang.
it's not my first time to eat X.O.
it's neither my favorite candy...
but why did i bought it to Manang?
coz she told me that...
I AM PRETTY!
hahaha XD
sounds funny, eh?
but i did bought tons of it just because of that haha XD

BE HONEST.
this particular part of Sampaloc Lake reminds me that
WE ALL SHOULD BE HONEST.

and that ends my trip to San Pablo and Alaminos.
Though i wasn't able to complete the 7 lakes, still, i enjoyed it.
The next time i go back here... i will make sure to complete the other 6 lakes ^___^

see you on my next trip!
