ESKAPO: DAVAO

i haven't been fond of going anywhere. i'm just a simple person who's always inside the four corners of my room. other than that, you can find me just inside our house. i've been to places but i'm not so interested on an outdoor trip because i'm too lazy to go out and i don't have budget hehe. but things happened spontaneously... when my brother said that he'll be giving me a special gift--a trip to Davao on my birthday--it was actually unbelievable. i thought it's just a joke but as time passed by and as my birthday is coming near, i can really feel that it's all true!

we were booked last February 14, 2013 at 3:00 or 4:00 AM and we flew for more than an hour so we arrived at Davao International Airport at before 6:00 AM. to be honest, we do have conflict schedules on our flight that's why we're kinda, delayed.

actually, it's my first time to ride on an airplane so i'm kinda nervous at the moment :)

and i nearly forgot to introduce my buddy, NIKO. a D3200 Nikon DSLR cam. i must show him next time ^___^ we're partners-in-crime :)

(THURSDAY)

at Davao International Airport

Landmark of Davao that will welcome you as you arrive there :)

our first trail was on Philippine Eagle Center

this is one of my friends i've met in Davao--PAG-ASA--the oldest, i guess,

Philippine eagle in our country.

my second friend, ALEX.

at night, we went to Davao City Proper where we

roam around the People's Park.

then we had our dinner at JACK's RIDGE where you can

view the whole Davao City ^___^ you must come here coz their

food is also good and so's the place.

these TACLOBO shells were said to be the silent witness that

the place where i was standing that time... was actually... below the sea.

unbelievable, right?

but it sounds interesting ^______^

(FRIDAY)

MY BIRTHDAY!

we spent my day at SAMAL ISLAND ^____^

the place that YOU MUST go when you reached Davao.

we first visit the Monfort Bat Cave where we trailed for almost

half an hour just to get there.

see how MANY bats were there!

nice sight-seeing view from Monfort Bat Cave :)

next, we went to Hagimit Falls.

it's 30-45 minutes away from the Bat Cave

first view you can see when you go down from the entrance.

this is the first time i saw a water falls :)

blue waters that's so cold and refreshing ^___^

and finally, THE BEACH!

we spent the beach at BLUE JAZZ RESORT.

after our Samal Island trail, we went back to Davao City Proper and eat seafoods :)

FEBRUARY 16, 2013

(SATURDAY)

we will never complete our trip without ADVENTURE!

we went to OUTLAND ADVENTURE!

(but i didn't try the zipline coz i got phobia on my first try in Manila)

THE HEIGHTS!!! 600 meters + 500 meters! 2-way ride :)

then we went back to the city to buy souvenirs and we saw Ateneo de Davao there :)

of course, souvenirs will never come late on the trip :)

i fell in love to this fruit because it's so sweet and juicy!

and the DURIAN!!!

this our first time to taste Durian and all i can say is...

"TRY MO!"

haha :D

i remember the time we are so excited to taste it. the vendor opens it for us and

we were hurrying to know what it taste like :)

and after we tasted it...

TADA! hahaha NO COMMENT!

we just hurried to bring it back to where it belongs haha! 

another Davao's best is Mangosteen :)

i also fell in love to its sweet and sour taste :)

then we went to Crocodile Park :)

another place that YOU MUST go :)

and lastly, we went to Aling Linda's souvenir to taste their

that ends my Davao EXPERIENCE :)
